Turning off notifications

I believe I read somewhere that notifications could not be turned off in Symantec SBE 2013, but I don't recall reading it in any of Symantec's official documentation.  I have a client who is using SBE 2013 on the cloud, no on-prem console, and would notifications turned off on a specific PC as it is in a conference room, and the notifications have been popping up during presentations.  Is there a way to turn off notifications in the policy and if not, has anyone else come across this issue with a suggestion or two to share?
