I am having issues answering the following deployment questions related to SWG (Symantec Web Gateway)
1 – There are 20 remote sites that need to connect the SWG's deployed at each site to a CIU (Central Intelligence Unit) in the head office. None of the traffic is NAT processed when it leaves the remote sites but the CIU is on a different class C subnet to the rest of the remote sites and the subnets are not advertised. – can this be done?
2 –On the web GUI for the SWG it doesn't list any info (MAC address etc) for what interface is the LAN/WAN/MAN etc – Is there any way to display this info?
3 – When blocking HTTPS by policy, a blocked page doesn't appear. Instead, a 403 error page does, and when attempting to connect to HTTPS sites, the browser needs to display the blocked page rather than not allowing the connection. According to Symantec support, this is a known issue but has no remediation path?
Has anyone seen these types of issues before? Any info would be a great help.
