Hello. I am currently trying to reinstall Symantec Endpoint Protection on a users machine in a domain environment. I would like to get some feedback on the SEP.INST log I've attached while I attempt some fixes.
A few things I've done:
1. Removal of SEP and running CleanWipe. All indicators point to a proper wipe.
2. Changing registry entry for short file names as per this guide as I see a 1603 error in the SEP setup log.
3. Checked the Event Viewer, no indication of an unsuccessful installation.
Basic info about the network:
1. Win 7 machines
2. Typical AD network
3. I am logged on as ADMIN and have all permissions required. I've installed this on numerous other machines without issue.
4. The installer is on a network share and is a custom installer that has been used many times.
