How can I test the installation ?

Yesterday I achieved installing SEP 12.1.6 , running in UBUNTU 14.04.
The LIVEUPDATE button is working since yesterday, and the STATUS is:
AUTO-PROTECT = mal functioning
SCAN = Done.
Can I say it`s working ?

What can I do if no ?
