SEP.cloud notification emails have changed - I have to ask: WHY?!?

I do not need a solution (just sharing information)

Up until the other day, I would receive one "High-Risk Intrustion Detected" email for any client that was saved from some Internet mishap.  The email would come in from "Symantec.cloud Alerts [alerts.spn.com]"

At the bottom, it would list the customer name and the contact method, my email address.

Starting on November 4, I began to receive two emails for each alert.

At the bottom of the first, it now reads:

Contact method:  MSP Delivery Method

And at the bottom of the second, I still get the customer name and my email address

I have to question why Symantec felt the need to suddenly provide two emails for one incident, but wait... there's more.

Starting yesterday, November 10, these emails are now coming from "SEP SBE Alerts [alerts.spn.com]."

So now I have to question why Symantec felt the need to suddenly change the "from" address on these emails.

Change for change's sake?

This certainly isn't providing me with additional information, in fact it is simply cluttering my Inbox.

And, of course, I have to modify my filtering rules in Outlook to trap and move the newly addressed emails.

Sheesh!
