I am new to this forum, which I discovered after a lot of searching 
I have a licensed copy of PGP 8 which ran successfully on my Windows XP PC. I have since replaced my PC and now have one running Windows 8, 64-bit. I tried to install my licensed copy of PGP on my new machine, to no avail. I now cannot access the encrypted drive from my old machine, which has reports and papers I have written, along with business contact details. These remain inaccesible. It was not possible to decrypt the information before the old PC gave up on me. I did rescue the HDD.
Does anyone know if:
(a) PGP 8 can run on Windonws 64 bit machines of, if not
(b) whether there are any downloadable drivers/patches that might enable such a function.
