I'm running Universal Server 3.2.1 (Build 4461).
I'm updating the OS on some Macs to 10.7.x and wanted to install the latest PGP Desktop client software from my Universal Server. When I go to Consumers > Download Client, I have no idea what version I am downloading until I unpack the .tar.gz file. When I do, I can only check the Release Notes which says it's version 10.2.1.
How can I get a "managed installer" of the latest 10.2.1 MP4?
Does my Universal Server automatically download client updates, like centralized anti-virus systems do?
On my Macs, when I choose About PGP Desktop, it says version 10.2.1 [Build 4461]. Is that effectively MP0?
I can download the 10.2.1 MP4 installer from FileConnect but then how can I create a "managed installer" that knows to communicate with my Universal Server?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
