Deployment of agent using GPO

Hi Guys,

this link is very helpful but i have questions on this.

Questions:

1.  this deployment applicable to both x86 and x64 bit of OS machine?

2. since this is startup script, after applying this script, what would happen if i disable the startup script. 

    i mean if agent is still installed to the machines???
