I own a web design company. We do a lot of programming for those sites. However, your product, Symantec Endpoint, thinks that our programs are a threat. This isn't bad by itself, however, when it detects our program, zipped or not, it notifies us AND DELETES the program without warning or questioning us! WOW! this approach is TOO AGGRESSIVE! I looked for options to restore and mark it safe but although there is an undo I get the message that ths action cannot be undone! Also, we DO back up our work but guess what? When we attch a back up drive your program scans it and AGAIN notifies us of the threat and deletes our back up! OK, I had to uninstall your product to get any work done. This is a prime example of TRUSTED COMPUTING GONE WRONG! Let me decide what's safe and what's not. I have been a programmer for several decades and have certificates and degrees. I know what I'm doing. I did try to use the settings to stop the aggressive behavior but to no avail. If you have any ideas I am open to them but this is insane! I would love to have the option AFTER it detects it to delete or NOT. Again let ME decide and don't decide for me!
