This nasty item has installed and will not be removed. Name newsnetservice. I have done everything suggested and most files in it's folder are gone. But that one item remains. I read it hijacks my PC but wouldn't have a clue really. Most commonly people say to go to your startup folders and simply delete it from there.
The startup folder on the All programs listing is empty. Is there elsewhere it hides?
I use WinPatrol so I can see it as a "service" although I have removed it from the list of Sartitems in WIn Patrol. Try deleting it and it says it will be deleted on next rebott. Ah, no, it does not. It remains.
Anyone have a clue? I've been at it for about 2 weeks and none of the soutions on other sites does a thing. Some , the items mentioned do not exist at all. Getting desperate as it slows everything down and does God knows what?
