Hi All
I installed PGP Whole Disk Encryption 9.10 on a XP machine to encrypt several hard drives. There is only one extra slot for a additonal hard drive, and so we added the drive we wanted to encrypt and then used PGP to encrypt it. After that, we replaced the drive with another drive and encrypted the next drive.
Now we have completed encrypted all the drives and we wanted to uninstall PGP from the XP machine, but PGP is not allowing us to uninstall. It said "You cannot uninstall PGP when drives are still encrypted". The problem is we have removed the encrypted drives from the XP machine and we also don't want to decrypt it (in order to be able to uninstall PGP).
I tried to re-install the OS but somehow PGP has made the primary hard drive inaccessible to the XP OS installer. That is, we cannot even re-install or re-format the hard drive. (I have not tried using a Seagate low level format software though). Anyway, we don't really want to re-install the OS. All we what is to uninstall PGP without having to decrypt the encrypted drives.
Thank you very much in anticipation.
