SEP Centralized Exceptions question

I need a solution

Good Day - A quick general purpose question regarding creating centralized exceptions within SEPM from detected network application lists.

I've created a few application exceptions designed to act upon (specifically quarantine) several undesireable, previously detected applications.  The applications are being identified by Network Application Monitoring and possibly other features.  More than one of these undesireable applications was originally identified within a user's profile folder (ie.  C:\Documents and Settings\specificusername\localsettings\Blah...Foldername...Blah\ExecutableName.yyy)

When I review the list of exceptions I've created  - the Exception Details contains a 'File Path' entry citing a path within a user's profile folder (as above).
(This is for Application Exception Items generated by selecting from the deceted applications list)

The question is:  For exceptions created by selecting applications from the detected applications list - is the selected Exception Action limited to applications matching the specific File Name and Folder Path that was recorded with the original application detection?  Or, does the exception behavior cover ANY instance of the application (identified by way of Product Name / File-Fingerprint, etc.)
